Very nice small Church in the heart of downtown Erie.

I feel bad not giving five stars, and this is the reason: Mass does not start, or end, on time. At least it did not on our three, soon to be four, visits.

Now maybe that's the norm, but if you are not from the area, like us, it's unsettling.

Won't stop us from coming, but it was very odd.

Great Church! Visited the area to see and spend time with family. Went to daily mass on a Friday morning. Received the Sacrament of Penance, spent time with Our Lord, and Stated for Benediction, all before 9:00 AM Holy Mass. Great caring, Holy Priest. Thank you Father for giving and Blessing us, with our Lord on this Day. Praying for you, your congregation, and all Priests. Nicely done! God Bless you always! ❤️✝️🔥🇺🇸☮️🌎

absolutely GORGEOUS church - adoration before 6pm tuesday mass was so sweet. got to go to confession too! all the people there were so welcoming and warm to me! amazing. praise God!

I dropped a friend off on his bike near the church and was going to pick him up in an hour and a half. The priesthood him up and he was left in the cold until I arrived. He had no phone. So today I called up just to make sure someone will be there and that he would not be stood up again. The secretary was very rude to me, offputting, and condescending. So I gave her a piece of my mind and hung up. Just by the priest standing up somebody and the secretary being so rude, I would not feel safe going to the church. Sounds like their self-righteous and really don’t care about others. Plus, I know others who have been offended or hurt there. It sounds to me like this is the kind of church for you only if you have a narrow-uneducated view of theology and think that you are the only group that is right and everybody else who disagrees with you is wrong and not a true Catholic.

St. Scholastica is a wonderful small-town feel Catholic church! Many religious programs, events, classes, and activities are available to the congregation and community.
