The Pentacostal church I grew up in was bad enough in getting me to hate, AND I do mean hate the church, but this church put the icy frosting on the cake.
First of all this church made me feel about as unwanted during their events, made sure I knew I was not wanted here. And that is normal, the schools I went to from Kindergarten to college really isolated me from having any friends, except when I was succeeding at something, then these bitter women trying to prove a domestic violence relationship pops up.
And they pop up when I am succeeding at something mainly something athletic.
I got suspicious when Father Steffanopolis started talking about taking people out of confession and sending them to counciling. I knew Steffanopolis was listening to people talking about me that he should not have.
But the Pentacostal church made me loose any credibility in the church when they started things like the popular music was the devil's music. This evangelists expert said that Carlos Santana named his band after satan. Carlos Santana is Hispanic and that is his daddy's last name. KISS doesn't stand for knights in satans services, they made that up. Hotel California was a song about how cutthroat the music industry is, and all it takes get a song to the market.
Now, this St Jude church, I regret so many times not getting up when walking out of those meetings for good when Pat started about short skirts, acting like she was talking to "everyone." No- she was play along get along with the whole group who started about how short my dressess were, today I would had said nothing, but got up and walked out tell this church to take my name off of everything. This church had all these other people who were talking and gossiping against me. I should have left that church indefinitely.
So I could have and should have left Pat to keep gossiping about me to all of her friends.
This church did not accuse me directly of stealing a camcorder, I did not find this out until years later that I was being talked about as someone who stole their camcorder. During a meeting, Pat said "we lost the camcorder." A man in the meeting said "we lost it?" Meaning someone stole it.
I did not think nothing of it, but this camcorder theft at this church has a police record in the Beaumont police department.
Years later, me and Lyle went to Sears, in Lafayette Louisiana and I bought a camcorder- there were no cell phones at this time. The very next day after I bought the camcorder, the modern dance professor asked us in the class " did anyone BORROW the camcorder?"
At that moment I realized there is definitely a police record in Beaumont TX accusing me of stealing that camcorder both the UL dance department and at this St Jude church.
Here is another church story, St Francis in Iota Louisiana. Lyle knew something was wrong when the preist asked to be transferred. A lady that Lyle and his family knows met us in Books A Million and told us the preist they all knew asked to be transferred because Lyles sister was caught embezzling money from the fund raisers and he didn't want to tell on Lyles sister. I told Lyle, i said I believe that preist was all excited thinking you (Lyle) was stealing the money and he could not wait to prove. Lyle stopped associating with all of his family including stopping helping out with fundraising for the school and church.
When Lyles presence were no longer there, it came to light who was really embezzling the money.
None of these people in the churches are going to continue to get away with these false theft accusations.
Something that is so close to God and prayer the truth will hit the behind. But when it does happen, it is up to God and the universe when they get their good deserved payback.
