Another piece of Leadville history! Wonderful stained glass windows. Is now serving as a food bank to the community. What a great service! Free admission

I am not religious however I am a huge fan of this church and it's volunteers. They do so much for the community and have a food pantry with amazing food. LOVE this church and everyone who is associated with them. I'd give ten stars if I could.

Great hospitality, friendly, and aren't pushy. St. George's is a wonderful contribution to our community. St. George's has the community food drive on the third Wednesday of every month. They also provide the public complimentary lunch at 11:30 on Mon, Tue, Thu, and Sun. They provide dinner at 5:30 on Fridays and Saturdays. Very humble and welcoming.
They also host countless classes on a daily basis such as , AA, NA, CELEBRATE RECOVERY, COPING WITH DOMESTIC VIOLENCE, and 12 STEP.
Its great to have a place in our community to provide us with these services! And whats even more appreciated, is that they're offered at no cost!

This is the best church ever!! People are so accepting and helpful how ever they can be. Also mon, tue, thur, fri there is a daily meal at lunchtime 1130 for anyone in town! And saturdays at 5 pm. Church services are Sunday at 5pm. This is a great community place. God is great!!

I had an awesome religious experience there. I was waiting outside because I was supposed to meet up with some folks there but there was some confusion about what day and all, but this dude came down the street, and he was looking for some help, so right there under the tree at the corner while it was raining, I talked to him for about an hour. Never will know what happened to him, but I know what happened to me.

although very limited experience worshipping there as I am Catholic. I would go there for services though if I were going to church more then I used to LOL. But they are a very charitable and compassionate congregation that has helped me in the past with food drives and they help others with a soup kitchen and free lunches everyday I think again very limited experience but to choose their charity and friendly compassionate congregation I give them five stars and if you need help start there if you're in Leadville. Great area to visit and sight seeing, friendly townspeople. Beautiful at over 10,000 feet above sea level. Try some gold panning out of town, some 10 or 12 mi. South and west.
