My church goes there to sing for the residents from time to time, and they all seem to enjoy it. I personally have heard many great things, and have never heard anything negative about it.

The staff is wonderful, however, if you are looking for a refund after your loved one has moved out, prepare to wait. My loved one was not a resident in the month of January due to hospitalization. Her belongings were completely moved out by January 6th. We are still waiting, no correspondence and broken promises.

The staff does not spend time with residents. And when SFAL does hire a staff that is exceptional , they fire them.
The turnover rate is very high.
If a resident does not have food from their $30.09 a week allowance, them they just have to go without. There are a lot of fights amongst the residents.

Do not take your loved one to this facility. The owner is a crook and they do not notify family members of medical incidents that take place with the loved one who is staying in their homes . Owner has had documents modified with DHS due to her “connections” within DHS . Facility doesnt forward mail properly or contact loved ones for doctors appointments . This facility should be federally investigated and I Hope families do not take their loved one to this place .

While we were initially excited for my sister to move in, the staff began to not care for and berate her. The weekend nurse is horrible. The administration would not help her with mail or daily activity. Only brite spot, Amber.
