As a professional interpreter, I recommend Spring Institute as the place for training. I attended Bridging the Gap - Healthcare and will be attending Bridging the Gap - Mental Health soon. Classes are online and the cost fits my training budget. It's also a great place to meet other interpreters and translators.

I took the Bridging the Gap class with The Spring Institute recently. It was very easy to take and a lot of fun. The instructor, Jordana, was incredible. She was able to teach in all the ways people learn. It was interactive and challenging which I appreciated very much. You don’t realize how much you’re learning until the test is taken and you’re in the middle of it singing the respiratory system song. (Brough it by a student in the class and she had us all learn it) Thank you Jordana for being a wonderful teacher and being so patient with our class!

I worked with Spring Institute to complete the Bridging the Gap Medical Interpreter training. It was an incredible experience- super efficient and effective training. Our lead instructor, Jordana, was very responsive before and after the training, and I’m still periodically in contact with her as I start my work as a medical interpreter. She has a wealth of experience in, and knowledge of, the field. I cannot recommend Spring Institute enough.
