My son went to VBS here and I was thoroughly impressed with the incredible job South Sub did. His teachers were so kind, the staff was all extremely helpful and friendly, everything was very well organized, and my son had a wonderful time! Very welcoming and friendly church!!

My wife and I starting going here when they launched a new evening service on Easter Sunday. We love it. The teaching is great, the music rocks and we've found a great community of people to connect with. The church has been around a long time and has a deeply rooted community and I think that's what made it so easy for us to get connected and even join a small group.

South Suburban has been my church home for nearly 20 years and I'm very grateful to have had the blessing of learning and growing in a Christ-centered community with a strong Biblical foundation. Senior pastor Deral welcomed my family with open arms when we first started, and his Bible-focused messages have always been a highlight of my week and a source for continued growth in my faith. The current staff is truly the best I have ever seen and their joy, passion, and commitment to Christ has created a new, exciting energy for sharing the good news of Jesus and serving in His name. The 9:30am Sunday service has been a perfect fit for me with contemporary music from the incredibly talented praise band, communion time and a Scripture-centered message. I'm proud that we have strong ministry groups for all ages with many worship options to fit the different needs of our community - 4 worship services, ministry for seniors, men, women, young adults, youth, and children, along with small groups, studies, and offerings for couples, parents, teens, young kids, families, mission trips, community outreach, grief share, music and more. I love being a part of this wonderful group of believers.

I love my church family. We are not a bunch of cookie cutter Christians but rather folks that are seeking the Word of God in a messy and broken world. Come join us. Check out one of our wonderful Sunday school classes for children or adults, set in on a sermon or two, have a cup of coffee, and let us love you. If you have little ones you will love our children's department. This is what was offered to me and my family and this is why we stay.

The staff, the people, and the community of South Sub love the Lord. My wife and I have loved being members here for the past 8 years, and now we excited about raising our newborn daughter at this church. Pastors Deral and Darvin truly care for their flock, and beautiful, new things are still being done by Christ at SSCC.
