I love the idea. Unfortunately I was told they don't loan equipment for children. I can understand a lack of equipment in children's sizes, but they were rude and presumptuous in their reasoning, telling me that children can't be trusted to use the equipment properly. Wasn't necessarily to share that opinion

I am so impressed with the kindness of these volunteers. I also really like that by getting more use out of this equipment, there is less plastic etc going into our landfills. So that and the service of helping people save money during an unexpected medical situation is a win-win.

A few months ago I found this place and asked to be loaned a wheelchair, because of this I finally was able to learn that I did need to use a wheelchair more frequently and asked for my custom one which will be in soon. Through having a wheelchair I have been able to leave my house more and not put myself into a pain flare or risk passing out and hurting myself.
