Update! I was contacted by Jo from the food bank and was blessed by her today. She delivered more meat and a sweet card with a blessing inside. It means so much to me, and I will certainly pay it forward when I can. Much love to all of the wonderful people there. Now I am crying again, but happy tears this time. Thank you SOS food bank! 🥹

I have been so so grateful for this food bank until today. I waited for 2 hours for a family of 5. 3 orders behind me were given their food prior to me. I get that beggars can't be choosers, but you would think that a family of 5 would get more than 6-7 pounds of meat for an entire month. We got 2 1 pound breakfast sausages, a bag of mixed BBQ and one taco meat. For a whole month... And this month is already very financially hard for us with Christmas and my son's birthday. Never had a bad experience until today. And of course it's the month we need it the most. I called and asked if I could come back in a couple weeks to get more, because it's not enough but was told that different churches/groups rotate and they only work the one day a month so other groups may not honor that. I'm crying as I write this.

They are helpfull
Food for 2 gets 8lbs of meat . Coopers is big contributor to sos food bank some of the local farmers donate fresh veggies.

I have never had someone be so rude to me. I went to go get food because we were running low and were really broke one month and the lady that works there was so rude to me and my friend that came with me. She said things over and over again to me as if i was stupid and generally was just mean. Will not be going back for help. Will find somewhere else next time we are in need. So sad that people treat people that way.

Many, many different avenues of help for people from free GED classes to food for the needy to help qualifying you for Medicaid to free job search computers and much more. The older woman in the food store area and the older janitor are a little cocky and way too serious about what they do, otherwise a great and helpful staff.

All the people that are working at SOS are exsemtly friendly and very helpful. The food my daughter who is disabled, sure did help her out tremendously. Thank you SOS.
