I grew up attending SonRise. And while some things have changed, I really do love this place. Pastor Jerome is a wonderful man, and everyone else you meet is super friendly and warm and welcoming. Biblical teaching and great people. Exactly what a church should have.

We attended here because we were visiting from out of town. We used to be members at CBC. I like this church better because it has an actual sanctuary, etc. One thing we didn't like was the praise music. The gal who was playing guitar was over the top with drama. Praise music should be focused on God, not trying to be the next Lauren Daigle or whatever. The testimonial from the missions lady was great though; talking about her work in Turkey, et al.

? Pastor Jerome is a really good teacher, best I've heard in a long time. You can tell he genuinely believes in his heart what he teaches. The content is Biblically sound, he makes you think (very interesting subject matter), he keeps my attention (which is hard to do) ? and he always focuses on Jesus. ?☝️ I walk away from there knowing that the Holy Spirit spoke to me through the message. We are moving so we can't attend in person anymore, but you bet your booty that I will be tuning in online. Thanks Pastor Jerome! ? P.S it was a blessing to be able to work with the high schoolers and get to know them a little and Banning...you rock!! ? Hope to see you all again someday, maybe when you do your beach days.
