What can I say to let people know this is the place for your loved ones !!! Helping seniors in this building for two years has been so easy with the leadership that runs this place from the top all the way down. There are many amazing workers here that go above and beyond Jane Patel has always went above and beyond for her seniors in the building and connects with them like there her family , helping the family find any needs that they are looking for she's the best!! I must add seeing Chris play cards and connecting is also wonderful all the way down to our wonderful cleaning lady and the amazing front desk people you just can't beat it anywhere else!!!!

Moving a loved one into a senior living facility is never an easy decision, but Jane Patel has made the transition incredibly smooth and comforting for our family. From the moment we walked in, we were greeted by friendly staff who truly care about the well-being of their residents.

The facility itself is beautifully maintained, clean, and welcoming. The staff is compassionate, attentive, and always willing to go the extra mile.

Knowing that my grandma is in a safe, caring, and lively environment gives me great peace of mind.

Solstice in Bakersfield is such a great place! The staff is super friendly and really cares about the residents. The community is clean, welcoming, and has a great atmosphere. There are always fun activities, good food, and plenty of ways for residents to stay active and social. If you're looking for a senior living community that feels like home, this is it. Highly recommend!

Do not let your loved one keep anything of value. While my mother was in the hospital an employee went in her apartment and stole her 50th anniversary diamond and ruby ring and her diamond stud earrings. Her door was locked and there was no forced entry.
Many employees have access to the master keys to all apartments. House keeping, kitchen help, an unattended key at front desk, maintenance as well as management.
Managements response was they were not responsible. If they are not responsible for their employees and keeping the master keys out of the hands of a thief then who is

I feel very secure and staff is very hospitable. Dining room has flexible serving times with with a variety of menu options and no-sugar dessert options are available.

I'm not sure who the previous poster was describing, but I find the management team to be exceptional. I even sent fresh flowers to them as thanks. I've been in several facilities both independent and assisted living. Carriage House is far and away the best of them all. Friendly staff, great food. I can't imagine a better place to live.

Solstice Senior Living in Bakersfield CA has the most amazing staff!! It is a warm friendly "home" for your loved one. I had my mom and my "other mother" there and I could not have been more satisfied and no I dont work for Solstice or related to anyone there...there are that good! From theme days all the time to AMAZING things they have done during COVID to try and keep their residents spirits up. Christopher and his staff are there best in the business and I highly recommend them for a place to have your loved one. The golden years can be scary for family, wanting them to be cared for, happy and safe.... Solstice is the place!!!

I have not been here yet to look around but some of the Yelp reviews were terrible and said that they charge extra for everything and that it cost one family hundreds of dollars extra a month for those items for their loved ones. And that it was not as caring as claimed in assisted living and their loved ones got worse in a few weeks. I have heard this about some AL homes also about patients getting worse and even dying or having to pay too much and not getting all the benefits. So I hope the problems get improved. Having only one nurse on staff just 8 hours doesnt sound good in an AL place.
