Not too helpful. Most of them never go above and beyond to help you. They just sit there and tell you where things are and that's it. The EDD is a joke there too. All they do is just tell you how to set up an account for the EDD site and not actually assist you in finding jobs. Even the WIB's Gateway stuff is not worth it. Due to my own experience with it, you should still be prepared for a denial even when you are broke, on public assistance, and have very limited work experience. Don't waste your time! I went through all those hardships but they still left me abandoned because of me having a degree. So what if I have one. That doesn't mean I've suddenly earned a magic wand that makes me immune to challenges and barriers in job search. Times have changed! The economy isn't like the 90s anymore! Degree or no degree, it's not the same world anymore. People now struggle. Even if having a degree denies a person access to educational training of the Gateway program, IT DOES NOT MEAN THAT he or she should also be denied access to job search assistance, job placement help, and on-the-job training ESPECIALLY IF THEY KNOW that the person is obviously going through poverty. They better consider making reforms or there will be more taxpayers burdened by the goverment to accommodate needs of those in poverty. And it's their fault, not mine.

The people at this location are nice HOWEVER I'm not sure if they are part time employees , volunteers or what ?All I do know is that they are NOT all on the same page and they give people misinformation. Its crazy to have a groups of people so disconnected. DO not Waste your TIME with their so called meetings for training services .Their WIOA program should be audited and the employees Trained properly. If you have an issues please note it with a review so they can be stop eventually. Also you can use this location for their computers job fairs and postings everything else's is a WASTE. DON'T Waste Your TIME.

Found myself being too old for my usual line of work, six months of interviews and rejections led me to Workforce Investment Board in Cordelia, Ca. Within 2 months I was retraining for a new well paying career. The staff helped me every step of the way. As long as I kept my appointments they kept on helping, without any cost to me personally I received tuition for training in my new career, which also paid for all licenses I needed, all physicals and testing and a per diem stipend every month.
I'm 6 months into my career and loving everyday I go to work.
Thanx Workforce.

Great agency! They do a lot of good, however, the phone system is NOT user friendly. It is way too difficult to find a real person to talk to. I finally gave up.
