This is the sweetest, local library. It is laid out in a clear, concise way. The kid's area is incredible! It has toys, cozy seating, and a a load of great books! It's nice because kids can play and/or read while allowing parents to have a nice place to sit and watch or read, too.

Interesting. Vibrant. Friendly. Unique. Eclectic. Encourages community gathering. If you're looking for a quiet place to work, this isn't it. However, if you're looking for a community that gathers throughout the day and evening to find books, hold conversations, have children's reading hour, family movie night, and access to fresh produce (they provide seedlings for you to plant in your gardens), among other surprises then this is definitely the place to visit and support. And the welcoming kitty is delightful. 😊

Such a hidden gem in Soddy!! The nicest people you’ll meet! I was greeted by the cutest library cat and the ladies working the counter got me set up with a card (that can have my family added which is a huge plus.) They then took my son to the kids section get a snack lunch while I looked around for my book. As I checked out they gave me a flyer for all the events coming up. If you’re looking for a library that accepts everyone - even if you’re out of “zone” this is the one!! Highly recommend 🙂

What a wonderful library community! Kelly is an absolute star who has gone above and beyond to bring a deep sense of belonging, imagination, collaboration, and community to this cozy little spot. (Plus there are cats!) An invaluable neighborhood resource.
