I just moved here and I’ve been to lots of thrift stores all over the country - the thing I buy the most at thrift stores is linens - I almost never buy linens at this place despite the fact that they have quite a few because they keep them all bagged up or taped up. I “think” I’ve been to one other thrift that does that, out of hundreds I’ve been to. (No joke on the hundreds) The reason linens need to be accessible is for a multitude of reasons - if a blanket has an image on it and cannot be seen , which is usually crucial to the sale, people can’t buy if they can’t determine if it’s something they’d like . The size is also impossible to determine when taped up. Also buyers need to be able to open up vintage linens and see if there’s any fading in the colors, any holes, any stains, snags, markings, rough edges- and assess for themselves whether those flaws are worth the purchase instead of being surprised at home once they can finally open it up. I buy lots of old linens with flaws but I have to be able to assess the flaws for repairs /treatment etc before purchasing. Additionally brands can also be important with linens- usually the brand name is taped up or not visible as well at this store. Hoping these notes might help this store to make more sales if they understand the importance of being able to see the entirety of an item like these!

I give them one star because there is no option for zero stars.
This is a horrible store. The staff are rude and it's just crammed with old and outdated items that are ridiculously over-priced. Obviously they have no clue on how to price use items. I have been to several St. Vincent locations and this is the worst one. I felt dirty and itchy when I left.
How the fire marshal has not shut them down is beyond me. There is just too much stuff. The area by the register has stuff piled on top of stuff, so much so that you cannot see anything clearly and the entrance is blocked by more stuff.
Whoever the manager is they need to fire the person.

I just love this place great prices on most everything excellent selection on many things, small town feel with huge store, NOTE
IT HAS A LOT OF UNLEVEL SPOTS IN THE FLOORS AS WELL AS THE ENTRANCE (PLEASE WATCH YOUR STEP ALL THE TIME) it has wheelchair access however it will be very hard to maneuver through the store especially on foot and if you're in wheelchair, also no restroom, and a little hot inside. But still a great place for a few hours of fun and bargains.

I have shopped at a different store for years just about once a week. I love the fact that the money goes back into the community where it's needed and the prices are always good but this store was very different. The first cashier was awesome and helpful. I was sitting next to check out behind the counter looking at the MANY over priced kitchen knives when a new cashier came up. She was not only rid to me but extremely rude to another customer as well and seemed to be yelling at him from what I heard. They had so much stuff packed in every inch of the building that made me fall in love but I quickly realized that I was sadly mistaken with the almost retail prices on most of everything. The knives for example, I pulled out a vintage Old Hickory knife that had been used so much that there wasn't even a quarter inch of the blade left, it was $4 and absolutely refused to discuss prices with me.

For this to be a Catholic store there sure wasn't much of God's light in the place.

only buy clothes here. I always regret buying appliances. Every single one of them. They sold me a oven that they said was converted to propane. After I paid for it the guy told me that the oven portion had NOT been converted yet. Just the burners which is the easy part. Now they won't take it back.

Interesting thrift store with just about anything. It's huge. Prices a bit higher than other charities. A bit messy but at least the clothes are in size order. Lots of books, furniture and home goods too. Could use some organization and a good old spring cleaning but overall a decent store.

Be careful in there the staff is very mean to anyone who says anything. They are very cruel and if you say a word they will get you outside and act like theyr going to beat you up. They will make a police report out on you and you will have your first encounter with Benson police records and at the beginning of my 70 s fighting cancer and taking insulin for diabedis etc etc. I can only pray for these rude people at Saint Vincent’s the Lord says vengeance is mine.
