They will not help veterans if they don't own their home. They lie and say that it doesn't matter oh but it does. Some lady named Barbara is the one that lied to me. Then tells me that I'm not a good fit. Everything was good until I told her that I didn't own my home. She is a lier and doesn't need to work with veterans.

This organization is a true Blessing to those Veterans who receive the highly trained service dogs as well as for those who contribute to the Mission of training the dogs, volunteering in various capacities and those on the Board of Directors who lead and manage the organization. A truly first class organization dedicated to doing things the right way!!

This organization makes life changing contributions to the men and women who have sacrificed in service to our country. The service dogs provided to veterans are trained to the highest standards and make a great difference in the lives of the veterans who qualify to receive them.

Very credible charity. Their tax returns are available online... Ninety-six cents out of every dollar contributed to this organization is used for the acquisition, care and training of service dogs which are given—at no charge—to disabled veterans.

Called to get information and was pointed in the right direction for resources. There are so many shady places that pop up on a google search … this group is not that. They are knowledgeable and authentic with a desire to help. Now I at least know where to start!

Veterans of our Armed Forces have sacrificed so much to ensure our freedoms. Smoky Mountain Service Dogs provides mobility assistance service dogs to help mitigate the disabilities of their recipients. It is a privilege to be a volunteer of this organization.

SMSD provides highly trained mobility assistance service dogs to veterans with disabilities. These dogs are trained by talented dedicated trainers and that training is supported by over 60 active volunteers and led by a committed board of directors.
