I was blessed to have Estrella as my doula for the birth of my first son. The level of expertise,care, knowledge and service was exceptional. Estrella has many talents and skills and the kind of support that is needed for a mother and father during one of the most intense and beautiful times of their life, childbirth. Estrella was very intuitive in knowing what to provide, how to support. She has so much to offer with her expertise in traditional and indigenous birth. When the baby was born she did all the steps needed to make me,the baby and my partner feel comfortable safe and well taken care of. She truly is an angel.

Estrella is a divinely gifted doula with extensive knowledge about both modern and ancestral birth traditions, as well as sacred healing modalities. From our first doula consultation, I was impressed by her overall professionalism, her thoughtful considerations in general but also of both my older daughter and I, as well as her compassionate sensitivity to the circumstances around my twin pregnancy. This kept me grounded
and she gained my trust with ease.

Estrella communicated consistently leading up to the birth (during & after too), always making sure we are aligned on my birth plan. During the incredibly difficult last 2 weeks of the pregnancy, I could barely stay on my feet. Without hesitation, Estrella made a healing balm for me that relieves swelling and aches, and would come over to my home to massage me. She went above and beyond to provide comfort and relief - This felt like an act of love.

I checked into the hospital highly confident because I knew she would be there supporting me and advocating for me throughout. She immediately partnered with the staff to communicate my birth plan and desire for unmedicated twin birth (one of the twins were breech). For the full duration of my labor and birth she confidently, amiably, calmly and firmly ensured my plan was honored. She advised me whenever there was a recommended adjustment that she supported but otherwise it was all about what I needed and wanted within reason and safety considerations. The synergy between her, my doctor and the staff was effortless throughout.

At the peak of my labor Estrella guided me to tap into strength reserves I didn’t know I had. In this way, she cracked a door open that I’ve been exploring since the twins birth as I too was reborn into a evolved version of myself that I never knew existed. It started in that labor and has bloomed beyond my imagination.

Engage Estrella as you and your loved ones doula. Every pregnant woman needs to experience the level compassion, support, care, thoughtfulness and professionalism that she provides. She’s funny too. You WILL catch these jokes.

Divina Estrella is not only a dear friend of mine and community sistren for over 8 years but she was my soul doula spiritual birth worker. She guided me through my birth and helped me spiritually deliver my daughter into this world. I had a vback and that is not easy she helped me visualize this to manifestations and I am soul thankful! What was by far the best support i needed was she was always available and spoke in the most calm nurturing voice, that was grounding and soothing during my intense labor. She was there by my side physically and spiritually, singing songs and fanning me with Maat peacock feathers and hawk feathers the entire time. My body literally knew when she was in the room and when she wasn’t. I wanted her by my side the whole time. She massaged my labor pains, we danced, we sang, I felt safe and secure with her there. My body knew nothing bad would happen if she was by my side. She came before my birth and we worked on birth affirmations and she came during my birth and after my birth giving me herbal baths and massages for my partner and I. She also cooked for me, checked on the children, and made herbal teas, lastly she provided one on one counseling for ini for emotional support. Hands down if your looking for a ancestral birth worker , a doula a sistren you can trust with your life and feel safe with than Estrella is the right woman. She is also a great warrior doula in the hospital, she will help you in there with decisions and also help you make your own intuition decisions. I’d definitely recommend this powerful woman on your birth team.

Its hard to describe in words exactly how perfect the ceremony was- everything i needed in that moment and we allowed ourselves to feel the feelings. To cry. To sing. To sweat. To bleed. To slow down and be together. Thank you for honoring my transition in postpartum, many years later- as mothers we go through many physical, emotional, and spiritual transitions.
