What I’ve read in these reviews are exactly why my daughter will not go there. She needs help but this doesn’t seem to be the place at all.
We need a place that will truly help our unsheltered population. People need to know how to work with mentally ill and homeless population. Not all homeless are drug addicts!
They need advocates that will help,

This is a homeless shelter shaped like a small apartment building with a gated parking lot & small playground. Residences are sepatated by men on 1 side & women with chidren on other side. Sustainable Solano held an event here planting fruit trees to give the occupants free fruit in future.

When I sought help here almost a decade ago, I was told I would have to get rid of all of my very normal household possessions beyond a suitcase of clothes including my bicycle, long ago having sold my car. I’m not sure how that would have helped me in this society that relies on many physical things to secure employment and maintain rented or owned property.

I'm giving 3 stars only because I haven't resided there. It's a beautiful place. It's been renovated since it was the bridge. Looks great.

I sought help here during an emergency through a VA resource. As an experienced nonprofit leader myself, it was interesting to start to see the other side of a charity-based relationship (I am relatively young and have been somewhat sheltered from survival-based hardship due to my own privilege).

In this particular context, I was able to observe the dangers of friendships between staff and clients. Not only is it inappropriate, it allows favoritism to influence the climate and, in my case, the physical safety of other clients.

This shelter could be an excellent resource, but, the staff should be held accountable. Abuse happens when authority is trusted without verification. I’m grateful to have left for something safer.

Ordered the double beef tostada, it was just ok. No way would I pay full price of $11.99 for one. Probably won't come back, to expensive!
