STAR not only has an excellent Therapeutic Riding program, but also has Changing Strides Life Skills program for at-risk youth, Heroes & Horses program for Veterans with disabilities and the Minis in Motion program in which miniature horses and donkeys are partnered with local schools, long term care facilities, camps and organizations to ignite a spark for learning and personal development.

Love this place! This place has done so much for my son. He knows when we are about to pass and lights up; asks to roll down the window and yells "Hi Fluga! I miss you!". The workers and the people that donate their time have always been so caring to us. Treated us with respect and are so patient with my son. This place and people will always have a special place in my heart. Thank you STAR!!!!

STAR is an inspirational program empowering so many people of all ages. It is a joy to hear about and see the bond between clients, the horses, staff and volunteers. The environment is peaceful and very clean considering it's a horse barn! If you or someone you know is suffering from a disability or trauma, the care and attention given at STAR may be beneficial for an individual's healing path. If you want to make a difference in our community, I am sure they would welcome all sizes of financial donations. It's a worthy service.

This equine Therapy place is top notch. It is obvious they are invested personally in the care of their clients and their therapy horses, ponies, and donkeys. When you go there you are in excellent hands. It's well worth donating to and volunteering for. Can't say enough great things about the organization.

I've driven my younger sister out here to ride a few times. She loves it. It's a great barn with beautiful horses. The program is a wonderful thing for children with different struggles.
