Serenity lodge gave me a second chance at life! The magic that happens on that mountain top is spiritual and life changing. With over 30 straight years of alcohol and drug addiction I didn’t think I had a chance at recovery but the love and understanding offered by the facilitators and the knowledge gained from the instructors proved me wrong. They understood my situation and respected my lack of knowledge with class. They changed my whole belief system from the perspective of a hopeless alcoholic/addict to a new way of life, without the use of drugs and alcohol. Knowledge is power when it comes to a life of recovery, and they teach from experience, not just curriculum. They are there because they care about your life and only want to give you the right tools to battle your addiction. Tommy, Ray, Cesar, and Jorge, I can’t thank you enough for bringing me out of the dark and helping me to see the light again. I discovered my worth again at serenity lodge. From day 1, i was treated with respect and care from every facilitator I came in contact with, setting the foundation for my journey. There is something truly special about this place. Tim, Mark, John, and all the other staff, thank you for your time, patience, and support. Now I want to bring to forefront lastly, but most importantly, the brotherhood. The solid brotherhood I developed with the other members at serenity lodge was the most incredible part. I was humbled
with the amount of Camaraderie that took place when I arrived and was quickly welcomed with love and support from my fellow brothers. Everyday I would meet someone new and I would listen to and grow from the stories they shared of pain and addiction. Many of which could much relate with even though many members were from another part of the country.
A life long bond with complete strangers, who would have thought? In conclusion, I would absolutely recommend serenity Lodge to anybody who wants a second chance at life, it is possible! At 47 years old, I’m living proof! Thank you again to everyone at Serenity Lodge!

They have an incredible program, great staff, awesome facilitators, beautiful campus and housing. The surrounding is serene. Along my stay I learned so much about my self and my struggles, I re-gained my mind, my confidence, my self worth and so much more. Highly recommend to anyone considering help.

Serenity Lodge was great. I was able to connect to my feelings again and emotions and build a strong foundation of recovery by changing my perspective in my mind and finding a relationship With my higher power. I was able to understand self love again as well as receiving love, which I had lost for so long. Serenity Lodge is a good location in Southern California nestled in the San Bernardino Mountains. This is my first time in a facility like this. They focus on internal issues, Cognitive Behavioral Therapy, and try to make you look inward to determine where your use comes from.

The facilitators made me want to attend the classes. And you only have to program from certain hours a day. You come up here with problems and if you do the work and utilize your therapists, and resources up here to really try to better your life you can do it. I originally signed up for 37 days. But I did 62.

I love the kitchen staff food is good and I enjoyed my volunteer days there.

If you have a job or need disability they can get you started but don’t forget to follow up with them. And the resources that apply. You can get the ball rolling yourself too!

Highly recommend this location. When you call they’ll even help you with transportation. I do miss Ms. Karen, Jorge, Cesar, Tommy, and Ray. Living in recovery they all speak with passion and from experience and advanced clinical knowledge They truly care about the clients. They will help you change your life. The first step is willingness to change.

This placed has saved my life and given the right tools and knowledge to be able to handle my addiction issues to better myself in the real world and for my children! The staff was excellent my case manager Monica was absolutely exceptional the facilitators Tommy, Ray, Cesar, and Jorge combined to give me all the tools and confidence in dealing with my issues and real life stories that helped dramatically change my outlook on life after addiction! Even down to the chefs and working staff everyone here is for you! And it was just an experience that has changed me in ways I can’t explain I highly recommend this place to all the people who feel lost in addiction and your brothers in arms here will take care of you as well!

Great experience here. First off the facilitators are top notch. Ray, Jorge, Tommy, and Cesar were all amazing and played a huge role in my recovery. They truly care for the clients and want everyone to succeed. They are the backbone of this place for sure. My therapist(s) have been amazing as well. They really get into the root cause of the addiction. The case managers are great as well, overall great people. Zinnia definitely needs to look at hiring some more case managers so they aren’t so over worked all the time. The facility itself is great, could use some updates here and there but awesome amenities and food is good, just a little repetitive. Thank you everyone at serenity Lodge!

First of all the Facilitators are all excellent ,above average, and the curriculum is awesome. If you are ready to become sober and live a drug and alcohol free life Serenity is the place to be! The facility and all the amenities are great as well. If you’re a recording artist such as myself, the studio they provide is top of the line. Self expression through music is a type of therapy as well and was a pivotal part of my recovery.

Overall a great experience for my journey and recovery. The facilitators bring a lot of information that helped me tremendously. It takes some getting used to the program when you first come in but just remember to ask for help and the case managers, therapists, and facilitators are more than willing to help you out. I feel blessed to be apart of the community now. To end I have built potential lifelong friends here from working on ourselves and can always check in with them.
