I will never give a dime to this organization again. Our smaller detachment has held fundraisers and donated over $40,000 to this foundation over the past 10 years. When one of our Marines with family at home was seriously injured he was denied in less than 24 hours and the Semper Fi Foundation stated they do not give to anyone that was hurt after 2011. If that's the case, why the hell are you cashing peoples checks and where is the money going towards. Looking at their Google reviews, this is a common theme with the amount of 1 star reviews from Marines that are injured and denied any services from this group. Always Faithful my ass, change your name to the Blue Falcon Foundation.

I was introduced to The Fund in 2019 when I was at my lowest. I was full of deep wounds and carried such guilt and shame. I also wasn’t a descent human being. I allowed my trauma and my pain to bleed all over people who never cut me. My care team (Debra, Stacey, Jasper, and many others) believed in me before I could even have an ounce of hope or believe in myself. Through the up’s and down’s, I can truly say with deep conviction that this organization has remained “Always Faithful,” while also requiring me to step up to the plate of life and put the work in. Instead of giving me a hand-out and feeling sorry for me, my team has worked with me to develop an action plan that has slowly changed my life. Where I once struggled with severe PTSD and addiction, I am now sober for 3 1/2 years and learning to manage my PTSD in healthy, healing ways. Where I once isolated and hurt other people, The Fund has taught me how to live in community with others and work towards healthy, meaningful relationships. Where I once lost my desire to live, my V2V has taught me to develop meaningful personal goals that are priceless to me. One such goal is my desire to be reunited with my sons in another state while I finish college. Healing is not easy, and life can be really hard sometimes. But this organization has stood by me on the mountain tops and walked with me through my valleys. They’ve encouraged me to become at least 1% better everyday. My team has touched my heart and taught me the tools to allow me to change my own life. I am deeply grateful for The Fund. Your support goes a long way, and there will be generations because of you. Thank you to the donors, the volunteers, the workers, and the spirit that makes The Fund hold true to its motto - Semper Fidelis!

Before you donate to this organization, pls know the facts. I'm a combat veteran of the USMC and this cult denied me, in my time of desperate need. Shame on the Semper Fi & America's fund...SHAME! One star is the lowest choice afforded, but I would have ranked them lower. Shame!

Applied three times and all three times I was given a different excuse. If you are going to use the name “Semper Fidelis” to represent your nonprofit, at least know what it stands for. Even with 80% VA rating they still won’t help a fellow Marine. No problem helping other Army Vets, but not a Marine.

I recently learned that they promised to help another Veteran with moving his family to another state after being discharged and they left him hanging with all the travel move expenses.

Ever since my military friend told me about SF & AF they have truly been there for me and my family. My case manager reaches out to check on me, sends me birthday cards and always shows she cares about my health & well-being. I have participated in many events, participated in their "TEAM" sports and have done many virtual events during covid. They are a true blessing and the best non profit for military, veterans, and their families and support all branches! Thank you!

When you need the assistance they scrutinize your position with suspicion, and deny you the help you need to get you where you need to be to succeed. I've applied once before a couple years ago, as I was in the midst of losing my apartment and my full request was denied, although they helped with a portion of my request I'll give them that, but I still lost my place and was living in my car, homeless for six months.
Most recently, put in a car trouble request, so as to be active with health (gym, volunteering, diving etc.) and restarting psych appointments. But since I was focused on my school training previously and took a break from my therapy for five months, request denied even though I was putting in the request to get restarted with therapy. Confused on how close to the ledge you have to be to get the actual assistance needed. These Non-profits are meant to keep veterans in the vicious cycle system, revolving door tactics because they are reliant on our dependency. Sad.

These people are awesome. They love nothing more than to help out Marines especially the ones that have been injured in combat. They will do just about anything and everything they can for these marines. They definitely helped me out when I was transitioning from the Marine Corps and they are wonderful resource if you were a service member or a veteran need them.

SFF is an amazing group. I cannot say enough about the care and support they offer. Today, seemingly from nowhere I recieved a letter that says Happy Birthday. I am beside myself. I haven't recieved a Happy Birthday letter in years. SFF thought enough of me to send one. This act alone made my year. Thank you Semper Fi Fund. I especially would like to thank Carrie G.
