I am writing to express my extreme disappointment in receiving my painting back recently.
I had a painting in a show that didn't sell. Not an unusual situation and that is not why I'm upset. I live in Colorado so was unable to drop off/pick up my work so I shipped my artwork to them and sent a return label for shipping back.
The painting was so poorly packed that the corners are all damaged and dented. There was not enough bubble wrap to secure my painting in the box as well as it just being poorly packed all together. Thankfully the face of the painting was not damaged so I can salvage my artwork.
As an arts professional myself, artwork safety during shipping is a priority and it makes me frustrated that the Sedona Arts Center doesn't hold the same high standards as a supposed reputable arts organization.
I will not be showing with this business ever again and will also want to warn other artists of my experience.

I love this whole area! It’s so fun and beautiful! Definitely stop in and enjoy the art as well! Out of respect I didn’t photograph the inside, most shops don’t like pictures of the art taken, but the environment around with all the shops is so fun and inviting!

This is a truly remarkable art center. The art on exhibit in the gallery shop is lovely, world class art. The facility itself is extensive. The classes it offers are unique and interesting. It's location --in upper Sedona, backing up to the creek, in the midst of all there is to do--is perfect. I highly recommend you browse, and enjoy taking classes there.

what a gem! glad we got to check it out while in town. caught the "Vision & Sounds: An African American Experience." although it was a small exhibition, still appreciate the highlighted artists and their works. very glad to see Sedona providing a platform for artists of color in the region. although we were curious what/where the "sound" part of the exhibition was.

Lovely non-profit arts center. Has spacious gallery upstairs at street level and studios below. Plus, in the building behind it there are many more works displayed. To go through everything at a relaxed, enjoyable pace takes about an hour or so. No admissions charge and well worth it. LOTS of Sedona and regional art. Very helpful and knowledgeable staff. We bought several photos mounted on metal. Highly recommend.

Beautiful gallery presenting the works of very gifted local artists including but not limited to paintings, sculptures, jewelry and ceramics. This local nonprofit offers a feast for the eyes and the soul. A special thank-you to Ed B. for workshop recommendations and upcoming events.
