In a city with rising costs of everything, it’s a blessing to be able to borrow tools for DIY projects. The list of tools is helpful. I borrowed the Bosch Bulldog, which is a small jackhammer, pictured, to remove x&/4%#* parquet flooring that was glued down. This tool works well for a woman, because it is light. Larger jackhammers weigh more.

They’re open twice a week, so if you can’t return a tool on Wed., you can do it on Sat. There is a city parking lot nearby.

This was a huge deal when I found this place. Saved me from buying a lot of tools for one time use, and I’m so impressed with their inventory! And the people who volunteer there are absolutely fantastic. Thank you so much for this service! However, make sure to be careful to not park in the red right in front of their place to drop off a tool. Even though you’ll only be in there for 30 seconds, the awful parking cops are looking to ticket people who do that.

Best place to get a one time use tool. Why buy it from a big box and then only use it for your one time project; or maybe you don't have room to store hand tools, shovels etc. Check their website for tool lists. Just like a book library. Reservations online then couple days later you pick up your chosen tool. Founder is a book librarian so the system runs like a library. Great addition to the Santa Rosa community.

How could anyone rate this less than 5 stars! A great place to go to check out FREE tools! And the service is friendly and helpful. Amazing service. Even if I went in and they said F you I'd still have to rate it 5 stars. They loan you tools for free. Crimine sakes! Not much to review here. Go in, check out tools for free, return tools in a week, check out more tools. Obviously it's a great service when you need tools. In short- fantastic! Thanks for being here in Santa Rosa
