I'm bummed because I had reached out while in a physically and emotionally abuse relationship that I needed to escape and they told me that they only had safe housing for victims of sexual assault. Then low and behold, as it so often goes, I started to experience violent sexual and assault abuse from that same partner and when I reached out again, the crisis phone person said they actually don't really have that resource...It's more of a marketing goal. This organization and the town and the donor resources.. there has been plenty of opportunity to actually create safe housing, and at the very least, resources or education of resources in the area. It's yet againt another nonprofit trying to avoid some sort of tax avoidance Because this group literally offers no services what so ever
