Coffee was okay, not strong enough, in my opinion, but not bad. The breakfast burritos were good too, but average.

I had to explain what a white chocolate mocha was asked for two xtra shots. Yes, 6 shots of espresso and she couldn’t even get that right. Coffee not too hot and it was not bad but not stellar. Barista should know how to make a white chocolate mocha and include 2 xtra shots of espresso. Kind of feel like I won’t go out of my way to come back.

Wife asked where the bathroom because she is moderately visually impaired and the young man with attitude didn’t say anything just point like a jerk to the bathroom like she was stupid.

We did not feel like the service was on par with the norm. Free pac-man for child was cool. Saturday 12:10pm

San Juan Coffeehouse in Montrose is a gem! Their "Fourteener" coffee is incredible, and the atmosphere is perfect for relaxing or catching up with friends. The food is delicious too, and it's super convenient with parking right out front. Highly recommend!

Love this coffee shop / cafe. Lots of seating. Beautifully decorated. I had a brewed tea. I had a splash of oatmilk added. It was yummy. Lots of choices. A variety of gathering spots. Looks like this is a local favorite. I understand why!!

They are a little better than the average coffee shop in town as far as atmosphere goes. The coffee is equivalent to other coffee shops, much better than the major chains we have in town. Their food is pretty good, again average compared to the rest of the area

I’ve been a big fan of SJB since they opened, so it’s tough to say, but the recent changes in ownership have made a noticeable difference.

The quality of the food, coffee/lattes, and the service just isn’t what it used to be.
Unfortunately, the staff seems a bit off, and it’s not the welcoming, cozy spot it once was.

My family and I really miss the old SJB—it had such a great vibe and made every visit so feel special.

I’m hoping the new team can find a way to bring back that charm and quality that made this place a favorite for so many of us!

I’m not sure if I’ll be back for a while but I’m hoping to give it another try later down the road. Fingers crossed!

So sad to see that all the unique coffee drinks have been taken off the menu. Staff was nice and tried to accommodate when I asked for a Mt. Sneffles latte, but they had no idea what it was or how to make it. Super disappointing 😕.
