The venue is nice, and most of the service is too. But the policies are weird. We didn't want to sit in the front row, so they sent us back to the lobby to wait until the front row filled up. The lobby said they can't have anyone waiting in the lobby, so they sent us outside. As new people arrived, they weren't sure if they should go inside or line up behind us.
The food was also pretty disappointing. The tacos tiny, and the fries cold. It came out faster than you can deep fry a chicken breast, so I'm assuming it was made ahead of time. The couple sitting with us ordered the most glorious looking mozzarella sticks I have ever seen. I didn't hear of the liked them, but another table complained about their mozzarella sticks being cold. But that's kind of alwaysthe struggle with mozzarella sticks, so I'd probably try them anyway.
Glad I could check this place out, but need to remember that any future visit will be $25+/person on top of the ticket prices/fees because of the two item minimum. Which would probably be fine if the food was something to look forward to, but seems like that's probably not the case.

One person minimum spend is for 2 items, either drinks or dishes, and pay online by scanning the qrcode on the table. Prices are on the higher side, but the quality is fine. Seating can be tight when it’s crowded, and parties of two may share a table with another couple. Overall, the experience is good, though seating is assigned by staff.

If you can’t find street parking, there’s ACE Parking nearby, and you can pay with your phone, credit card accepted.

I like this improv. Maybe I’m bias bc I’m from San Jose and I’ve been coming here years. But I like the small venue.

If you’ve never been here, know that GA is first come first serve. They will seat you in the order you arrive. I think it’s worth getting VIP tickets bc you’ll be right in the front and you get $50 credit per person. Otherwise, there’s a minimum of 2 order per person.

Food is ok. Not where I’d go for a nice dinner. Dessert was actually delicious. We got the trio.

The older gentleman with grey hair and a nice fade seated me and my pregnant wife right near the bathrooms like she needed and was so gracious in helping us with our needs. It was an amazing night at the improv! Try the watermelon margaritas!! Give this place a try for a date night or anytime you need laughs!!

My sister and I watched JR De Guzman on a Friday evening. We were running late and both parking lots nearby (directly across and kitty corner) were completely full. We were able to find a paid parking lot a block away.

Since we were late (15 minutes into the opening act), we were told that empty seats were scarce and it might be difficult to find ones close together. Luckily, we were escorted to a table that had 2 seats together! I could not imagine trying to find seats in the dark so it’s nice they have someone to help you. Just a heads up - you will be placed at a table with complete strangers. Also, the venue does not allow you to take videos or photography of the performers.

I loved how you can order directly from your table by scanning a QR code, and the items will be delivered right to you. Please note there is a minimum of 2 items per person. We ordered a watermelon margarita each, nachos, and tempura shrimp. There was an issue with our food. We were told it was last call, and we still had not received our food order. After bringing it to the worker’s attention, she said she would personally check on it. Shortly after, our food arrived. Both the food and drinks were delicious!

Great venue. Good acts. Went to see Brad Williams. Great show. He went way over time. Usually an hour long set. He stayed to see everyone in the audience who lined up. Good sight lines all around. Seats around 500. . Food leaves much to be desired. The guacamole and chips? Was mostly corn salsa and maybe quarter teaspoon of avocado. Key lime pie cups
You had to struggle to taste any citrus. Giant lumps of fat. Girlfriend says it tasted like unsweetened butter.

Had a great time but the food is TRASH (glad I didn't pay for it) and they never brought me my water. Wasn't surprising since the waiter looked like he was on something. It was warm and muggy inside so when we left I was thankful for the nice breezy walk back to the parking garage. Definitely will go again but won't go hungry.

Great place for date night, girls night out or groups of friends. They sell individual tickets, but there's a two menu item minimum. We bought the tickets that included a $50/person credit and reserved seating. We were in the second row of tables, so we had a great view. Saw JR Deguzman, so funny! We had a great time!
