Everybody was really nice..much more selection than ELCajon but good we went midweek cause seemed like they just didn't have enough help if it had been busy. Feel bad that dogs have to sleep on the cold cement many were shivering..can't give them blankets cause they might tear them up out of anxiety and eat them and get sick

This is Mae, she's a wonderful addition to our family. We adopted her during a 'Clear the Shelters' event.
The El Cajon location is a great facility, and I don't think the staff gets enough appreciation.
The were warm, casting, efficient, helpful and friendly.

Very caring employees and volunteers. Rescued the sweetest dog ever here and one of the smartest dogs I've ever had. We were so lucky to find her. They have low cost clinic for vaccinations and they provide excellent follow up care for any adoption. They offer military discounts as well for adoption.

I originally had another dog in mind but it turns out that she wasn't the best fit with my grandkids around... and then I met June. She is the sweetest thing! And super smart!!!
Everyone there was so helpful and honest. They're not just trying to push off the animals on just anyone. they are trying to find the right, loving home for them.

Not enough small to medium dogs plenty of large dogs. Unfortunately I can't have a dog over 35 lbs where I live. Otherwise I would have got a large dog. If you can have a large dog there are some really good ones there.

Although I had a scheduled appointment that day,, while showing up early, I took note of the fact there was only 4-5 customers. And all things went smoothly.
