Really bad experience , I was going to the post office in San Benito but I see that there was a line so I pursed to get in line to ask but since people that were outside didn’t say anything and that they heard me asking a question so I got off . There was a really nice lady that was explaining how it worked when a lady comes out yelling that I couldn’t be outside of my car becouse the government dose not allowed it , so I said mam I have a question and she said we’ll get back in the car your question can’t be asked here becouse the government dissent allowed it and she told the nice lady to not answer my question so I said mam you do not have to be rude and she said I do not have to be putting up with this it’s 145 degrees outside well I said this is not my problem I only was asking a question and she proceed to tell me to leave . If they can’t with the heat why are they outside .

This was our first week bringing my elderly father to this food bank, and unfortunately, it was not a positive experience. We visited on a Friday to pick up produce, and while the line moved quickly, things went downhill as we got closer to the distribution point. An older woman directing traffic was extremely rude and disrespectful, yelling at everyone for moving forward before she instructed. Her attitude was the same when we registered earlier, and she did not create a welcoming environment at all.

My father had been looking forward to this, but the experience took a negative turn when I tried to help elderly people struggling with heavy produce boxes. Instead of appreciating my offer to help, the staff yelled at me to stay inside the car. When I calmly asked them not to speak to me that way, they just ignored me.

It’s truly disappointing because these services are vital for those in need, especially the elderly. I believe they should have staff who are kinder, more patient, and capable of treating people with respect and dignity.

A good experience even though I never thought I would end up at a food pantry handout. Great volunteers and pretty much organized for the exception of their small facility it was somewhat crowded. Oh and in order to have them register you you'll need a valid ID and a utility bill posted with your name and they both have to match in order to be registered.

What a blessing! We needed temporary assistance and went there as 1st-timers, not knowing that they only service San Benito (we're from LF). They helped anyway! And it wasn't meager or subpar at all. Very well-stocked and structured. Friendly staff. Quality food. Super impressed with this organization.

Had a really bad exprience talking to the president of the food pantry being so rude and snarky while just calling to ask a couple of questions but other than that the other volenteers were nice and helpful...they did help alot with the food they gave but honestly i ended up feeling so bad about taking the food after my conversation with the president
