When you are in need of food, don't hesitate to come here. Homeless packages available, resource pamphlets, event notifications for seniors and those with disabilities. Hygeine products, diapers, wipes are sometimes available even Pet food. Just ask

Went to their food bank for the first time everyone there was so friendly and helpful. I was in and out of there in no time at all. Lots of food I was not disappointed I was truly blessed.

Take note:
1. You don't qualify for low income assistance if you're low income enough to qualify for other low income programs like Section 8.
2. No money to pay your bill and disconnection notice isn't considered emergency and actually disqualifies you from their for assistance.

I have the mind that's says the number 1 reason ppl can't pay bill is because they don't have the money. Being low income enough to qualify for some assistance shouldn't disqualify anyone from other programs that are advertised for low income. Make that make sense.
Even after saying that they will still ask questions an "interview" you. Soft word for interrogate. Just to be nosey and do tmh knows what with the info, smh...

Everytime I call or ask about funding I get the same lady who says no funding call back Tuesday ,or she says phones have been down all week. Or that they are under staff. How ITS FIRST COME fIRST SERVE basis? Um excuse me but I am on the phone asking about funding ? I think that means I'm in line to be helped right ?yr gonna have me call back so u can tell me now you have no
more funding ? Wonderful customer service skills ? yr job is to help people , not to be rude . sorry you are swamped I guess that gives you the right to be rude.This lady should help pick up slack If they are so understaff instead of her snarky attitude. Like take a name and number help get things in order instead of sounding bothered by yr job.

The Salvation army early breakfasts for homeless and persons who are struggling are given wonderful breakfasts Mondays thru Fridays are Great and plentiful here at the Hanford division!. Keep it up! Salvation Army!. Thank You*
