Okay am just gonna get to the point this was my 1st time coming here, and will be my last time due to it very unprofessional and unorganized. First of all they open late then they had us wait for 45mins. I went to go take my son to swim between the hrs of 7pm to 830pm I wasn't in till 745. Don't understand why the check in process has to be delayed so much. Then they closed early by 816 they were telling us to get out. Oh but when they open they didn't open there door till 725 wow and I still got charge the full price even tho I didn't get the full time. It's not about the charge it's about how they are not following their hrs of Operation. I still ask the girl what time do you start asking people to get out since the wait was so long the rep... said at 830. This is very disappointing I moved from the LA area here and I came from a very populated area and never had to experience anything like this very sad. I took video but it's not giving me the option to download it. On how early they close not following their operating business hours.

Do not buy a membership here; especially if you have a toddler. The classes fill up very quickly (not enough spaces for the amount of memberships/members they have). Almost zero value/usefulness... just pay for open pool time but even then the front desk workers have no clue what they are doing and have no access to the onsite manager when you ask to speak to the manager. If you have a toddler be aware that the changing tables are always dirty or taken due to the very limited amount of them. Prices fluctuate all the time without notice and toddlers are not free. You are far better off going to Gilroy Gardens (or Great America) if you have a toddler (where they are free) and have a lot of accommodations for the youth.

There are a lot of great things about this pool. The staff, in general, are kind and helpful. The level of care and instruction in the swim lessons is excellent. The pool provides a lot of different opportunities for many different ages and interests.

The main reason that I am canceling my membership is the overall lack of cleanliness and the disrepair. There were often many bandaids, trash, hair ties etc. on the pool deck that were just left there for many days. The shower room is the same and has few working showers. Second to that is that as a working adult it is often hard to find a lap swim time. Once you think you have a routine, their schedule is changed and maybe a swim team is now given priority over the already minimal lap time for working adults. You cannot always trust the published hours because they will allow the swim team to run over significantly and with only 50 min for lap swim that day, any loss of time means a loss of your workout. It was also concerning that some of the daytime lifeguards would cuddle up and sleep while they had a pool full of elderly adults to keep safe. I witnessed this quite a few times when I was able to swim during the day.

I am sad to be leaving this place because it could really be great if they had management that stressed cleanliness and expanded the lap swim hours in consideration of working adults.

I went this weekend to the aquatic center for the first time. Upon my arrival I wasnt greeted by the receptionist Liz. Which is very unprofessional. She made me feel uncomfortable and unwelcomed. I won't be returning to the aquatic center. Plus, they check your kids swimsuits.

So, me and the fam come out here to Salinas to enjoy a nice day out where we love to eat. We also love coming out to Sherwood park which is also next to the aquatic center. We recently discovered the over-looked under maintained playground that sits to the right side of the swimming center. It has like 8-10 slides (funs ones!!),a variety of monkey bars, toddlers structure.. The boyz and i liked the park and the awsome little table for your matchbox or hotwheels to play on.. Yea!👍👍 check it out.. Dont forget your mbx or hotwheels..

Very unprofessional and unorganized place. Front staff does not know what they are doing, taking ages to sign people in.

It's a great pool, and I believe it's also heated. The thing is that to take your kids to play it has to be at night from 7pm to 8:30pm and obviously that's late, it's their bedtime plus it would be cold by that time you'll be out and no one really wants their kids sick. I think the morning is for only laps and elderly people. I like the price of 7$ each child.

I wish the family bathroom would get fixed. The shower heads don't work properly and water gets all over the floor all the way up to the door and sink area. There's only one family room and if your son is under a certain age and he goes with his mother, he has to use the family room. If he was accompanied by his dad then he would be able to utilize teens locker room. Same for girls. The family room js always locked too and sometimes there's a line and you have to wait there freezing. Lessons have been great though 👌 👍.
