It's amazing living here! I'm the third generation that's lived in Rossmoor we are also lucky to live here. As you can see from the pictures of included here, I go walking through the hills most mornings. It's what I would imagine Paradise would look like.

Built in Walnut Creek, CA 50+ years ago in an ancient valley with 500 y/o Oak trees, two golf courses, 10 tennis courts, Rossmoor is home to active 55+ seniors . Near 9000 residents. Great neighbors, arts, music, theater, this is retirement living at its best.

I've lived here for 10 years and they HOA fees keep continually to rise. Mine currently are $1370 a month which is twice my mortgage on my place perit's not like you get anything with that money because you still have to pay for golf and all the other services here. Think twice about retiring here because the long term is very very expensive. Also to have the basic thing fixed in your place is ridiculous. You have to get permission to replace even a stove or anything in your apartment. Can't wait to get outta here.

Really nice place for seniors to live. Love the facilities and the group activities. Lovely grounds and golf course.

It's a 55+ community with state of the art facilities that are always being upgraded. The homes are co-op, condo or stand alone residences. There are one 250 clubs to be involved with including ceramic, fine art, sewing, woodshop studios as well as a movie theater that shows first run and oldies for free several times a week. There is a fine restaurant on the premises. A 27 hole golf course runs through the middle of the community. Tennis and pickle ball are played all the time. The fitness center is getting a total rebuild which is next to the very large indoor pool. Rossmoor seems like a camp for seniors.
