The library is as quiet and beautiful as ever.
There is a recycling box for used batteries on the right side of the entrance, so please bring any batteries you no longer need.

A quiet and clean public library.

The WiFi connection is good and you can use either the city or the library for free.
Of course, there are also free PCs available, and once you log out, all your history is erased, so you can rest assured.

It's close to downtown, so when the weather's nice, I sometimes go there for a walk from my house.
This time of year, when temperatures exceed 100 degrees, the facility operates as a public cooling shelter and has extended opening hours. It is also a public library that helps homeless people.

Library also sell used books, CDs, DVDs, etc. for a limited time, and sometimes even at half price.
If you are interested, give it a visit. You might find something interesting.
Parking is not a problem.

I only go there occasionally, but it's my favorite library.

Beautiful Building, Great Staff. I am so appreciative of having a public place to be able to go to do my work and have wifi.. However as much as it is good that the homeless can have a place to use the restrooms, get water, charge their devices etc, the availability of work stations can be hard or not possible to find as, even though, they seem to know each other, only one person will occupy the space to plug in a device, eat the Salvation Army meals, and take naps, for most of the day. Perhaps there is a way to distribute an area to full fill those basic needs, especially when it is cold or extremely hot outside.
Update... Bring a mask... Bronchitis spreading through the homeless seeking shelter here.

This library is very big and busy. It has one floor with different sections to do work at it can get a hit noisy but if you bring headphones you can get some work done here. There is also a section you can buy books

I have been coming to Roseville Library for over a decade, I grew up in Roseville and this was one of my absolute favorite places to go. I had so much fun reading here and I would come at least once a week to do so. It is still my number one choice for libraries out there. The only reason I took one star off is because of the amount of homeless people you will encounter in the area and in the library. While that is completely out of the library’s control it can sometimes be uncomfortable or affect your experience being here, it isn’t a huge issue.

I visited only for studying, so I don’t know anything about selection. It was pretty quiet on a Monday from 12-2. They had some tables out of the way for more private study space. It’s not very large and free parking is only 2 hours. The bathroom was clean. In general, I have no complaints. I saw a used book store room that I’d love to check out next time.

Big library , big space , fast wifi , normally quiet and fun place to work at. During the heatwave of End-of-August 2017 , it hosted lots of people to escape the heat ,thus it was crowded and less fun.
