The more that I've gotten to know the teachers and families at Roseville Community School, the more that I've been blown away by their thoughtful and caring approach to their community of kids over the past year. A heartfelt thank you for being who you are and doing what you do. We toured and interviewed at a number of schools all over the greater Sacramento area, and from my perspective, RCS is head and shoulders above the pack. This is a special place for sure 🙂

I attended this preschool as a young child, I am now 26. I was scanning Google Maps, looking at my childhood neighborhood and this jumped out at me. This is a MARVELOUS family where creativity and fun are the name of the game. This is a place where you're encouraged to use your hands to do almost anything. During the preschool years, exploration is how we learn. I wish everyone could attend this amazing place. Bev Bos was a beautiful woman and she is in all of our hearts. Take your youngsters to this place, they will thank you for it!

Our son went to Roseville Community School for K-6th grades. We chose RCS primarily because the program takes an approach of applying child development to an educational curriculum and philosophy. What we got was so much more!

Roseville Community School is a place where children can be children AND get the education that prepares them for middle school and high school.

There were some things that I wasn't sure of initially. No grades? That's crazy! Actually, it turned out to be just fine. Better than fine.

My son now attends a college prep high school that has a philosophy of "rigorous academics". Like many students before him, the transition into middle school & high school was smooth.

We all have benefited greatly by going to a parent participation school. I have made life long friends, I've grown as a parent and in my understanding of children and their developmental stages. I'm actually a better person because of the network and community of participating parents and the workshops the educators give at the parent meeting nights that I found at Roseville Community School

He is an only child and got the experience of working with younger and older students on a regular basis that he would not have gotten in public school. Interacting with other parents on a regular basis, and having real relationships with his teachers is why, I believe, we now often get the remark from his high school teachers that he is one of their favorites.

He also looks back on those years of his childhood education fondly, which is more than I can say. Getting an education and providing a space where children can flourish in childhood aren't mutually exclusive - and RCS does that great!

I would do it all over again in a heartbeat.

I have been lucky enough to tour this school. I wish that there were more places in the world like it. My husband and I are seriously considering relocating so that our future children can attend.

There's no other place in the world like it. My only wish is that we could spend more time there. A full day program would be wondrous.
