These reviews are shocking and disappointing!! I am not a recipient, but rather looking to offer my services and support to the cause. After reading how horrible they are mistreating human beings, I believe this facility should be investigated and possibly shutdown. I'd welcome the opportunity to fire rude staff, retrain others and rebrand the reputation for which it should stand for "Helping Hands".

Brenda always makes me feel uncomfortable and has a nasty attitude. I come here for help. And she wouldn’t let me get food because of my 3 year old isn’t allowed back there but other people can be back there. Will not be going anymore since she’s so nasty. Get better people in there asap. Everyone laughs at her because bow mean she is.

They have been rude and belittling for the past two years. I’m going to school full time. I receive scholarship money over a month ago which isn’t any of their business because it’s for my schooling. Then the stuck up snobby white people want to talk down to you and Implying that I’m trying to commit fraud with them. I’m part of a housing organization that I have no way of committing fraud which I showed them that info. They don’t even understand what they write down much less can read the documents. They see a dollar sign and they are like where are your check stubs. I have to literally explain their own paperwork to them. The man raised his voice to me in front of my child. Telling me he doesn’t know why I’m arguing with him. I got up and walked out while he said I guess your not getting any food today. I get I’m broke and poor. Doesn’t mean you have the right to talk down to someone. If you tell them someone pays your phone bill they say something sarcastically about it. The difference is with me is I may be broke but I know when someone is trying to violate me. Then I was told if I poke the bear the bear will poke back. I guess I should be in fear of these people? I never complain to these people. I have only asked for help. I hear people yelling at them or complaining how long it takes. Which is the least of my worries. You have to worry about volunteers, staff and supervisor talking to you with disrespect. They behave this way in an office full of clients and staff members. I was appalled with the way I was treated and truly hate going because you don’t know how these people will act towards you.

Great help for the community, fast and easy. I can't believe there weren't more people here receiving help that they may need/deserve. Nevertheless I love to see people stepping up to help.

Everyone at this organization was outstanding; with the exception of one person, I won't mention her name but she was belittling and aired out my personal information. Everyone else was welcoming and very understanding. God bless them All šŸ™šŸ™ they are special people

One of the worst experiences of my life. I'm homeless and they would not help me. They made me wait for 3 hours. When I went to talk to them they were very rude and dismissive.

Helping hands is a very good place I remember when miss Nancy what's the director she was a very kind lady it didn't matter how many times you came as long as she knew that you wasn't lying about food in your house or taking advantage of the system and know that the ladies there care about people I've had a hard time of my life but I always got my life better and I want to thank these ladies and the worker that's there now keep on doing God's work
