may Allah bless all the teachers at roots. there are tons of lectures that are extremely beneficial - they really help you become a better muslim and help you become closer to Allah. may Allah bless everyone that helped create a safe space and community for muslims and may Allah increase their rank and grant them jannah!!🤲🏻💕✨

Welcoming, comfortable, organized and enriching with their various programs and offerings. What an awesome idea to have speakers projecting outdoors to provide outdoor seating as an option or for overflow. Have never had a bad experience here. Truly an asset to the Muslim community in DFW. May Allah strengthen and bless them.

Abdelrahman Murphy is awesome he is a great scholar. His lectures are captivating and awesome. However, the halaqa for young adults its not as awesome as the sheik. The young adults are not welcoming they are rude its like walking into mean girls cafeteria.
Dallas young adults community is a poor representation of islam . Would not come back

Amazing space. Visited from out of town to listen to one of the sheiks and SubhanAllah it was a beautiful lecture in a great atmosphere. The coffee shop was also delicious. Highly recommend anyone looking to boost their iman to stop by and listen in!!

I noticed a prevalent in-group culture, where many individuals seemed more focused on maintaining cliques than fostering an inclusive community environment. This observation was further reinforced after a conversation with a student from Qalam, who shared similar concerns about the exclusive nature of the social dynamics here.

Although the physical setting of this place is undoubtedly appealing, the atmosphere feels subtly exclusive, catering more to specific types of community members rather than the community as a whole. This realization has led to a sense of discomfort, prompting me to stop frequenting the place.

For those considering a visit, the place does have its merits. However, it's important to be aware that the surface-level appeal might not fully reflect the underlying social environment. While it might suit some, it may not be the right fit for everyone seeking a truly inclusive and welcoming community space.
