Amazing, dedicated volunteers fighting to find a cure for pancreatic cancer. The Ron's Rescue Fund helps those fighting the disease with financial assistance. And their premier fundraiser, Ron's Run for the Roses, is fabulous! I have attended for the past 10 years and I can't wait to attend again on May 2nd!

In 2014 my late husband was diagnosed with stage 4 pancreatic cancer. Two days later, he was laid off from his job leaving him without insurance to pay his extensive medical bills. Devastated by both the diagnosis and jobless, I was given the name of the Ron Foley foundation for support. A little uncomfortable as we have never had to ask for anything, I reached out to the foundation for some financial assistance. The overwhelming kindness, support, and resources my husband received was overwhelming. I felt like I had another family to help us through this very difficult time .

Fast forward to 2019, I saw an advertisement looking for part-time assistance and volunteer for this wonderful organization. Without hesitation I applied for and received this job. Every day, I feel like I’m giving back to a wonderful, compassionate and exceptional foundation that truly believes in its mission to help others. The kindness of the staff and their dedication as evidenced by all that they do to help families and patients suffering from this awful disease. I will forever be grateful and happy to give back to such a wonderful group of people that are committed to making a difference each and every day!
