I was hiking today with my 2 dogs, Laila and Louie. We were hiking the shawdow canyon trail and made it to the top of south boulder peak. On the way down my dog Laila ripped and cut her paw pads and would not walk any further. I carried her for awhile but she is an 80lb dog. I called Rocky Mountain Rescue for help. First the ranger Nick came pretty fast. He brought us water and waited until the rescue team came. The rescue team was amazing. One lady was really good at adminstering aid to Laila. She figured out a plan to get her down. We are now home and Laila is resting and healing. I do not know what I would have done with out this amazing organization. I am very greatful for you.
