I've been going here for a few months... Good people. I've met some lovely ladies at this church going to the Friday night Recovery Alive meeting. We pray for each other and work the 12 steps in a book they gave us when the group started. Fridays at 6:30-8:30 pm. I love it.

We're not "church people", but this one is not like a normal, everyday, church we've been to!
The people are so sweet, kind and caring without seeming to look down on us for how we live, and look!
We have yet to attend a service here, and they know that and still offer to help with food baskets and clothes! They are amazing!

While visiting Bakersfield, ROCK Chutch is a 'must attend' fellowship! Friendly greeters,, lots of seating provided, great worship & pastor's message plus very comfortable worship center with children's classes available all contribute to a memorable event. Whether you're visiting or become Bakersfield residents, an excellent church to become part of; before moving to Escondido/San Diego, happy to be members here for long time. Check out their Sunday 10 a.m. & midweek Wednesday nite @ 7 p.m. services...you'll be glad you did.
