I took my Daughter here to take care of some business.
There was a long line and we were the last ones on the line, outside their doors.
Thankfully, everything was in order and the Female Security Guard was keeping everything smooth and running.
Finally,
My Daughter made to the front and took care of everything.

This place is horrible. I took my dad to cancel his benefits because he was moving back in November, waited in line for a long time and they confirmed they cancelled but refused to provide a receipt. They told us a termination letter would be mailed to his new AZ address. To this date they haven’t cancelled and when I called they refused to let me get my dad on the line to merge the conversation. I’ve seen bad public service offices but this one takes the cake. I would give 0 stars if that was possible.

This DPSS uses the old school DMV model. Take a ticket. Wait for your number to be called. DO NOT go on Fridays! They have half staff and you will wait 3-4 hours to be called. I had to leave to catch a train so I gave my ticket to a kid with a broken leg. Came back on Monday (because you can't make an appointment) and waited 2 hours to see someone. Staff is friendly in my experience, but prepare to wait. At least they have wifi.

I have been going back and forth for a month now over the phone trying to get help with my medi-cal case and finally received some help and answers from Mr.P and Mayra they have amazing customer service,l- took the time to answer all my questions and concerns. They should be running the place of you ask me 🙂 love this location will definitely be using this location instead of via phone.

They discontinued my case for not turning in recertification however the benefits website shows it was received. Assigned caseworker and her supervisors voice mailbox has been full for a month so no way to get a hold of them and the operator just sends you back to the unreachable worker. When I went in office I was told that my recertification was received and I needed to give my worker time to process it yet case was still discontinued.

This is by far the worse county building ever
1. They will give u a case but no case worker to talk to
2 .there is NEVER A SUPERVISOR ON DUTY for some reason
3. They will cut your case off even tho you give /turn all the paper work in on time the workers seem to view it when they want to!!! They say they work from home and from the office but still continue to mess people cases up I’ve been looking to report this office so they can do an investigation on some of those case workers! I’m not going to give up until I get answers

I rarely put a review, but being there for two hours waiting and waiting one more hour just to get an EBT card, it was all fine till the customer service!!!! This is can’t be worse lol!!
