Great park! We had a graduation celebration plenty of room for children to play at the park restrooms very clean. Nice walking trail all around the park. Great place for dogs on a leash lots of people nice picnic area perfect. Also had a great lunch. #805QuesaBirriaTacos ⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️

We love the open space around this park and that it is nestled at the back of the parking lot away from the road. Feels more peaceful. If you sit on the ground, watch out for the ants. They also like to say hello. This park has what I call a merry-go-round type spinning thing, and more to climb on than our average park in this area. Best thing is that you are next to an NOR parks and rec building. 😉 and on Saturday morning, this park (parking lot) hosts a Farmers Market.

This is a nice park away from traffic. Seems quiet for the most part. Still there's no escaping drama in Bakersfield as my visit consisted of witnessing a family birthday ending in a ticked off couple in an argument and apparently it was over someone at the party making a comment about her parenting. Yes people when you yell at each other at a quiet place we all hear you. Still if it isn't crowded this is a really nice place and area to just sit and read a book.

Excellent park all around. Ample parking as well as plenty of covered picnic area. Two playgrounds with wood shavings make for a park that's great for everyone. Restrooms and are available as well as drinking fountains. Park also has plenty of grassy area for sports and there is a half court basketball available as well.

We had a birthday party for my granddaughter late yesterday afternoon. The park is beautiful and very clean. My DIL reserved one of the covered picnic areas. Very reasonably priced. Restrooms were close. Playground was very nice.

Nice recreation center and basketball facilities. They also have meeting rooms inside as well as the office for North of the River administration. Outside, there is a small kids play area with play equipment and outdoor picnic area that is covered to the left of the play equipment.

Nice, newer park with age specific playgrounds, large pavilions, and family bathrooms. Slides end a bit high from the ground, there's not much shade, and there is construction nearby but overall it's a fun place to play. My kids ask to go back there.
