Riverbend Ranch is simply extraordinary! I can't express enough how incredible the experience was for both my wedding in 2020 and my little brother's ceremony this past September.

Both occasions were nothing short of spectacular. Dan and Jenny truly excel in what they do. They've crafted a breathtaking venue, but more importantly, they are genuinely kind people. Their primary goal is to ensure that your special day is perfect, and they go above and beyond to make it happen.

The stunning scenery, combined with their approachable and supportive nature, makes for an overall amazing experience.

We absolutely loved working with the RBR team! We had a longer engagement, but Dan and his team were extremely helpful from the initial planning stages all the way through to our big day. The RBR team members were all so kind, helpful and a true pleasure to work with. We worked with Brittney for our day-of coordinating and she ensured that everything looked just as we envisioned. She was communicative, friendly and so supportive throughout the day. Her support was especially appreciated when we had nerves due to some rain/hail before our ceremony. She assured us that it would pass, it did, and then the rest of the day went off without any issue! We really loved working with Brittney and would recommend her without any hesitation.

Beautiful venue for a wedding or party. Great location-just minutes north of Durango. The property is immaculate and there's a house on the property for the family to stay at. Lots of lovely spots for pictures too.

We got married at River Bend Ranch Labor Day Weekend 2023. Dan was an absolute angel through the whole process! He was flexible and communicated impeccably. He really cares about the couples and making their day as special as possible. The venue is absolutely stunning with the red cliffs, mountains, and beautiful ponds on the property. They also have a variety of decorations to borrow!
I would highly recommend booking the cabin on the property as well. It’s beautiful, updated, and spacious.
We cannot thank River Bend enough for their professionalism and providing the best venue we could ask for!

To sum up, you will not regret using this establishment for your wedding or any other event. End of September to early October is the perfect time for a wedding here. It's not too hot and you don't have bugs to worry about. Shoutout to the best wedding coordinator, Jenny!
Words can't do enough, you just have to find out for yourself. This place is wonderful!

We recently held our wedding at River Bend Ranch and it was everything we could have wished for and more. The location is stunning in every direction you look - pictures just don't do it justice. Dan and his team were wonderful to work with from the start, so responsive and helpful. The vibe is laid back and comfortable and they help support the vision you want, there is no push to fit a certain "type" of wedding. We also hired Brittany Ahrens as our Day of Coordinator and she was AMAZING! A true stress reliver and a dream to work with. Prior to the wedding, she was quick to respond to my many emails, had a pulse on all of our vendors and was ready and prepared for our big day. On our wedding day she had eyes in every direction making sure that our vision was fully executed, that our guests were comfortable and that we ran on time - she is a true gem and our day would not have been so smooth if it had not been for her.

We are so grateful to the team at River Bend and Brittney, they made our day so special. Thank you! They provided a warm and welcoming space for us to gather our most favorite people and celebrate love. They are true representations of what the town of Durango is, welcoming, happy and undeniably beautiful. We could not have selected a better place and I'd highly recommend this location and Brittany's services for your big day! You will not be disappointed.

We just recently had our wedding at River Bend in September 2024 and I can't think of a more dreamy place to marry the love of your life. I went to college at the Fort and my husband grew up in Durango, but majority of our guests had never been to Durango, so we thought River Bend Ranch would be the perfect place to show off how truly stunning Durango is, and it did not disappoint! Our guests still talk about how beautiful the venue was and it is such a gorgeous background for photos! Not only is it beautiful but Dan and his team take such great care of the property and are so great to work with, and I feel so honored to have been able to have our wedding at River Bend. We also rented out the cabin for the night before and of our wedding and would recommend that to anyone getting married there! Its a beautiful cabin and waking up there is such a great way to start your wedding day!

We got married at River Bend Ranch in September of 2021. When we were choosing a wedding venue, we had 3 criteria that needed to be met: I wanted to be able to wake up, get ready, get married and go to sleep in the same place; it needed to be a beautiful enough backdrop to be worthy of our amazing photographer; and it needed to be dog friendly. River Bend Ranch checked all those boxes and many others we didn’t know we needed! Dan and the staff were incredibly helpful throughout the whole process, especially since our wedding needed to be delayed due to Covid. Dan helped us find a new date without any hassle. The venue itself was comfortable, well-stocked with everything a bridal party and their guests would need, and I would highly recommend renting the cabin on the property as well! We have had so many compliments on our wedding, and the venue often comes up in those comments. The way they have decorated enables you to do virtually nothing in the barn for it to look beautiful, but also can accommodate something more ornamental if that’s your style.

We were fortunate that by the time our wedding was approaching, they had brought on Brittney Ahrens as their site wedding coordinator. By then we had already done all our planning ourselves, and we probably would have done so anyway, but I know that Brittney would be absolutely excellent as a wedding planner. What I would HIGHLY recommend, even if (or maybe especially if) you are having a pretty DIY wedding, is to hire her as your day-of wedding coordinator. We had originally planned to be low key and have a friend help us out with that sort of thing. While our wedding was pretty low key, I cannot emphasize enough how crucial it was to have Brittney helping us out. In fact, if you want a low-key, low-stress wedding, she will make that happen! Looking back, not having her there would have made things very high-stress for us. She was kind, professional and busted her butt for us while 8 months pregnant!

I’d like to address a concern I’ve seen on other reviews regarding the charitable donations. When you receive a contract, it clearly states that a percentage of your fee will be donated to a specified charity. We were uncomfortable with the charity selected, and we simply asked if another could be agreed upon. We were quickly proposed an alternative by the owners, who seemed to understand where we were coming from and proposed something that we were very happy with and we felt reflected our values. I understand that some people feel they can’t work with those who have differing beliefs, but by simply bringing up our concerns, the issue was handled with professionalism and class that made us very comfortable with the situation.
