Richmond Post Acute Care has an exceptional team and provides top-notch care. When I was searching for a care center for my loved one, I was apprehensive and full of uncertainty. Stephanie, the person I spoke with, went above and beyond to address all my concerns with patience and respect, which truly earned my trust. The staff at the facility are professional and provide outstanding care while treating their patients with kindness. My loved one had an incredibly positive experience at RPAC. They felt warmly welcomed and well-supported during their rapid recovery. The respect and professionalism they received at RPAC far surpassed what we had encountered at other facilities we had considered. Our primary objective was for my loved one to recuperate and return home, and RPAC succeeded in helping them achieve that goal.

The only reason I am giving 1star is for the nurses and physical therapy department who were very nice to my mother. Jim (the guy who runs the place) along with a lady named Anna(not sure what her title is there) released my mom against her doctors medical advice which is she cannot live at home alone. Today is day two of her being here alone and already she cannot manage her medication for her Parkinson's disease nor can she stand up from a sitting spot to get up to use the bathroom or to do anything. Today is Sunday she was brought home Friday morning because insurance would no longer cover after Friday I told Jim to bill her because I was in the process of finishing up the IHSS care for my mom at home he said that he would not bill her and that if I did not pick her up his staff would take her home even though her doctor saying she cannot go home alone. Anna lied to me about a place for my mother just to get me to pick her up so they didn't have to drive her home. My mom has had her share of medical facility experiences but this Richmond Post acute place is by far the worst I would never ever take any family member or anybody there after the way we were treated.

Very nice facility my mother receives compassionate care from the staff here at Richmond Post Acute administrator was very helpful when it was time for my mom to discharge back home in the community. He did a a lot of accommodations to our apartment and to make mom discharge be successful in her own living environment she was paralyzed from a recent stroke that time she finish recovering in the facility. She was able to walk on her own with no assistance hats off to the Therapy team for a damn good job. Keep up the good work.

These people are liars and only want your money. They could care less about you or any family member that you have. Jim the owner paints a great picture in the beginning but shows his true side when he is done with a patient...

If I could give them a zero star I would. Don't let their talks about God fool y'all. The staff at this location only practice Christian like behaviors when it benefits them. They denied my mother care because of what Alta Bates Hospital had to say about us. I was in that hospital fighting for my mothers life every single. This was during the pandemic. When saving a life was not important. Especially, a black life.
And when it was time to place my mother they told lies. And you guys believe it and denied my mother the best care she could've gotten. And let me tell y'all how I know the denial part is true. Not to long after their denial her. My sister and I moved my mother to another hospital, because we loss all faith in Alta Bates. And when the new hospital reached out to them. They accepted my mother. And when the person we dealt with us came back from vacation and figure out who we were. They denied us again. Now tell me is that Christ like behavior? And if anyone thinks that it is. Go take a deep long look in the mirror. And understand if we are all able to live as long as my mother has. Remember we will all end up in that same place. The hospital. Dealing with unequal treatments. From people who may or may not care about you or you life. And if so. I hope you have someone like me and my family there by your side. Fighting for every single breath you take. To extend your life for as long as you're willing to be here. No one should have experience this type of treatment. When all they were doing was protecting their loved ones. If Hell is a real place. I hope the staff this location has ice water. They're going to need it.
