Granville county eliminated late fees for overdue books some time ago. Evidently they also supply "no fee" feminine hygiene items as well. It's a clean and nicely run and maintained library and I've used their fax and copier services several times for which I'm thankful. The staff are always very helpful and friendly.

If you want to get any studying/reading done go somewhere else or do it at home. They allow people to be loud and talk while others are being quiet. It’s a huge distraction when you’re trying to focus on studying. At no time did the staff ask them to talk quietly or lower their voices. The one black lady at the front was nice and very helpful though.

My first time visiting was today. I had a wonderful experience. I was introduced to a friendly staff who was very helpful with warm out going personalities, especially management named Lisa Dendly and the young lady who assisted with the computer. Everyone was so kind and offered so much hospitality. I can't wait to go back again.

I would like to personally highlight three great women who exemplifies extraordinary customer service!!

Shirley: We had a community training with some former law enforcement officers on September 7th from 10 am to 2 pm. She arrived extremely early to assure that our meeting would be a success! We called on her several times after the meeting, not one time did she get an attitude, but she was willing and very helpful! Thank you from bottom of our hearts!

Jacqueline: always willing and ready to assist and help when needed, extremely professional and always very pleasant!

Victoria: I personally look for her "car" to see if she's working, because from the beginning of my transition back to NC from GA she has been a GREAT help with the computer/internet! Her attitude is very pleasant and cheerful!

THANK YOU, LADIES SO MUCH! I drive ALL the way from Henderson, NC on purpose just to be at this library for the reasons mentioned above!

Very grateful!

Great full service library-has one of the largest collections of audio books anywhere (inc Wake County!) ranging from current to classics. Helpful friendly staff-if they don't have it they will find it from their other area libraries.
Big, comfortable, many seating areas-nice children's section, computer area. Add to that a good series of programs , easy parking and easy to find, you have a fabulous community/county library!

Two days staff not willing to help. Individual behind desk reading newspaper - I had to interrupt her to get help kinda odd behavior.
Previous contact with young man ( Anthony I believe was his name) was terrible computer wasn’t working just had a question seemed to bother him - dude wearing two mask I advised I had a hearing problem - documented I should say he and the lady didn’t care.
So be prepared to have to be very very very patient with these two - I arrived early for this reason.

The library seems fine. There are many lounge chairs to sit and read. Tables in several places that are near outlets.
The Wi-Fi is often VERY slow. They recently severely throttled the speeds down and simple browsing is often not practical.
