RaiseUp is a wonderful program that goes beyond just providing a financial handout, they provide a Hand Up. When I was struggling to pay my mortgage, RaiseUp Families worked with me on budgeting, so that I could see where my money was going and get back on track with saving money and paying off debt. They connected me with food assistance, so I ease the burden of buying groceries, and save more money each month. I was able to pour into myself and take classes, build connections with other parents, and make connections in my community. They even had opportunities for my kids to take advantage of. Denied After Sharing a PLETHORA of my personal information!
Truly Disappointing and Misleading. Their response time was almost two months later. Then I am being asked for abnormal amounts of bank statements. It was truly disturbing. I mean they were worse than the IRS. Wouldn’t recommend very selective and I assume you have to be SUPER DUPER POOR to receive help. Be more transparent. From the beginning. List qualifications. Don’t nit pick. Koralee was my case worker.

This has been the most amazing program that I have ever been a part of. My daughter had a great experience in the summer camp. The overall projection of the company is that they will help , but actually pick and choose who they help based off the nature of your situation. If you really need help they will send a list of 5 resources rather than invest in the proper family and help. Very disappointed in myself for applying to this company for assistance. Most of these places are not set up to help the community but more so themselves. It’s really sad .. we need better agencies for single parents.
