U.S. healthcare is extremely wasteful. Many of the supplies (such as "disposable" blood pressure cuffs) can absolutely be sanitized and used safely on other patients. greatest place i’ve ever volunteered at, staff is extremely friendly and welcoming also very patient and helpful when you have questions, the staff here made me feel like i was part of their family. If anyone is looking for a place to volunteer, i would highly recommend project c.u.r.e.

the work is mostly sorting medical supplies from pallets so they can be shipped out to country’s in need.

This place is great! Jeff helped me off load some desks and office chairs that I had to donate. They ship across the country to places in need! He mentioned these items would be en route to Kenya next week! Awesome non profit organization to donate all types of office desks, chairs, filing cabinets. They only accept office items. Check them out, process to donate was super easy and drive up dock.

A great experience in volunteering where you genuinely make a difference. Learning how to help was easy, there are so many different places where you can help! This is a great thing for individuals or great for a team and a team building activity. If you’re looking for a place to volunteer, go check them out. They have something for everyone. Not a safe place for the younger kids though. Would suggest maybe Jr high or older.
