I'd rather not give them one star. Called for help and after they set up my account they just stopped helping me with no explanation. They seem not to realize that we are forced to trust them with our welfare. They don't care. Never again.

They claim to be in the business of helping people who are disabled, both mentally and physically. There are a few people there who seem to care, however the support staff have no idea on how to help people. In my case the need to help my brother get a job (mentally disabled) has caused him great grief. Not one time have they did what they say they will. They won’t show up in time. They won’t help with transfer like the promise. They won’t even really help them find a job. They will however over promise and under deliver. As for my brother, the additional stress of them never holding up their end has caused him hardship, the very opposite of what should be expected from this company. However it seems to be their norm.

Upon entering the store, we were greeted warmly and made to feel welcome. The store is very well organized and all items are bargain-priced. I would definitely shop here again if I return to the Clarksville area.

I am describing the thrift store PDI runs, not the actual business itself. Since I moved to Clarksville last year, I have often taken household goods, clothing, and kitchen items over to the thrift store there, because it is a locally run store and I can tell the people who frequent it need their services. I take items that are in good condition, or or still run, such as the crockpot, yogurt maker, and ice cream maker that I delivered today. I take my items there because I believe that even those who cannot normally afford it should have access to high-quality goods. I always make sure the items that I take are in a state of good repair and will be useful to the people who buy them.

So I would just like to recognize the obviously middle-class woman who was in there today and immediately took the yogurt maker and ice cream maker that I delivered, along with the solid iron pans. You even had the gall to tell me they were really nice items. I know they are, that is why I took them to a thrift store intended for the poor.

The poor are the ones who should have the access to well-made, well-maintained items, not you. The sweater you wore cost more than the entire outfit I was wearing. You had three diamonds on your finger. Your hair was clearly maintained by a salon, not at home. You were wearing very fine makeup, probably Chanel or Clinique. Every single item you had on, at least what was visible, was something purchased at a very fine store. You had no business shopping at a thrift store. It was no more than greed that sent you there, not need, and you took from those who need them more items you could easily have bought full-price yourself.

As I continue to find items that would be better given to a thrift store, I will continue to take them to this one. But I will make sure that a woman like that is not in the store when I deliver them.

They don't follow up. If they can't accommodate you they don't respond, they let you call and send emails but never respond. They direct the employees not to respond to you also.
