Whoever is in charge of the pool should be fired! Most of the time there is no schedule to speak of, today for example 09/23/2024 the website said the pool is closed from 11AM to 3PM when I went there people were swimming at 2pm when I asked a black lady who I think is in charge she answered the schedule was up dated 1 hour ago...when I went back home there was no up date on the web-site....NOTHING! if you want to keep those paying your salaries you better shape up! Do not waste your money at this YMCA it is not worth it!

This place is just filthy. Everything is dirty. Just a few things I've witnessed while working out there:
-The first thing you'll notice is the carpet. They look like they've never been cleaned.
-The locker rooms smell, not just B.O, and I'm pretty sure rarely get cleaned.
-When you open any of the lockers the smell of uncleaned grime and filth will hit you.
-Men shave and leave clippings all over the place, which rarely gets cleaned.
-There are no individual showers, which just makes it uncomfortable especially when there's a history of inappropriate behavior towards the younger members.
-There's a layer of sweat built up on most of the machines because no one wipes them down after they use them.
-They recently had a urinal break and instead of wrapping it up they let it sit for over a week just dripping urine on to the floor and in to the drain. The smell was atrocious.
-I've been going here for over a year and not a single employee has even looked at me or said hi except for the person checking IDs at the front.

Stephanie at the YMCA Daycare is absolutely amazing. She took the time and walked me through how to get my kids enrolled for Summer Camp. Stephanie helped me with the forms and we were done with everything the same day. She is so friendly and great with the kids! I highly recommend YMCA, especially if you get her on the phone!

We specifically joined for the pool. The pool itself is beautiful. My child used it to swim laps. He had been swimming since January almost 4 days a week. We had some minor issues with some of the life guards to start but nothing really worth reporting until recently. There is one specifically who is quite a tall gentleman with reddish hair who wears glasses, and he is pretty awful. He has a horrible attitude, really mean to the kids in the pool, over uses his whistle and thinks he has some odd amount of authority at the pool. He also has some strange influence over the female guards there and I witnessed them literally hanging from the slide, screaming, and scaring the absolute hell out of my young child while he was trying to practice his laps. Nobody was watching the pool either. I've been on the swim team since the age of 7 to 17, water polo in high school, life guard and swim instructor until I was 28, and this is not how you run a pool! I was absolutely disgusted with how this behavior is allowed? I cancelled my child's membership and I will never set foot in this place again. Someone is going to get hurt, along with these guards not watching the pool half the time, this is just screaming for a problem that I refuse to be a part of. I did complain to someone upfront about it, an African American woman who just kept trying to justify their actions and said she'd talk to them. Appalling.

The single worst thing about this place is the other people that attend. The staff is friendly. The place recently got a renovation. There are plenty of classes to pick from with multiple times slots, but the worst drawback is everyone else.

Is it nice outside? Doesn't matter, the shades get drawn at the faintest hint of natural light coming through the windows.

The old man that was on the machine sweating everywhere? It's your job to wipe down the equipment, not his.

Personal space? What personal space? You should have thought about that before you came out in public.

Walking in the parking lot to your car? Not anymore, you are dodging cars hopping the curb because the driver is tunnel visioned on a parking spot.

Every minor annoyance at any other gym is a daily occurrence.

For the price, you might as well go somewhere where the rules are even slightly enforced.

It is nice to see so many kids there more behaved than those 4-5 times their age though

Not a fan of seeing naked men in locker rooms. The facility is outdated and dirty. Rusty ceiling above the pool.
