We came here when we suspected a 2nd pregnancy. We were nervous since we had a bad experience at our first ultrasound with our first pregnancy at a different clinic. The PRC staff members were so kind. They talked us through so many of our fears and reassured us. During the ultrasound we found out we were having twins (again!), the staff gave us time to process and ask questions. They celebrated with us all while reassuring they would be here for us to connect us to the resources we needed. I can’t thank PRC enough. It was so nice to be surrounded by kind, loving, and knowledgeable people when we were on the early moments of shock!

6 years ago, on the morning of my planned abortion, I called a friend who had just started volunteering at the PRC. Was having second thoughts and a million emotions and couldn’t figure out if we should/could keep our child at this time.

She convinced me to come into the PRC and speak with a counselor there and 3 days later, I stopped in for a visit. I came in with a journal full of reasons why we couldn’t keep our baby and a few reasons why we should. She listened so compassionately (for 2.5hrs) without any judgement at all and not once did she try to sway me to keep or let go of our baby. They gave us a free ultrasound, so many resources, and helped us to make the best decision for our family. So grateful for all that the PRC does for our community.
