With the help of this organization I was able to focus on my treatment and not having to worry as much about the financial part of my cancer bills. Cancer isn’t cheap!! I’m 53 married with 6 kids in the house. I have private insurance but I had copayments, deductibles and maximum out of pocket costs on top of all our normal monthly bills. This organization helped with some outstanding medical bills that I wasn’t able to pay along with a car payment!! With their help we are able to focus more on my medical journey and help reduce the financial stress. I am so blessed and thankful for their assistance 💗

When we found out my mom had stage 3 breast cancer, it was a completely devastating blow for our family. Everything felt like a whirlwind from what felt like endless appointments, testing, diagnosis, and a million different things to do and talk about. Of course one of the scariest things is knowing how you will handle this trial financially. My mom doesn’t work and even with insurance, everything can just pile on in terms of bills and copays.

We have been so blessed by pink warrior advocates and the care and love they showed to my mom. Not only did they pay for several expensive medical bills but they sent my mom a beautiful care package and were so loving, kind and encouraging throughout the whole process. We mainly communicated with Charlene, who was just amazing, but the whole staff truly goes above and beyond. We would recommend them to anyone and we thank you so much ladies for your wonderful care of clients and families going through a very hard time!

Pink Warrior Advocates 💗 is such a loving group. Things happened fast for me, all immediately following a job loss, and having to navigate insurance and financial assistance throughout the same time as taking a battery of tests and physician appointments. It can get overwhelming. Charlene and Allura were amazing, speedy with their replies, essential in guiding me to other resources as well as processing my application quickly in my very time sensitive circumstance. In a position to lose my car and my house, this grant kept my family protected while I continue to job search.

I simply cannot imagine getting through this without the help of this amazing program. I pray that donations continue to support this worthy group as they lift up those of us doing our best to stay on the side of survival!!

Thanks to the Awesome Allura and committee board, they granted me financial support just in time! I have missed a lot of work due to all the doctor appointments, exams, tests, and first chemo treatment.
