I did not want to give this place even one star. The three months spent there were with our sister was terrible. Their dining room is filthy and the staff is so unfriendly. I could never understand how they could hold a position they obviously didn’t enjoy. They allowed the little dog on my sisters floor to pee on the carpet time and time again. The door that separates her bedroom and living room was broken when we moved in and was never fixed during the three months she was there. We put in several work orders and it never was fixed. They tell you exactly what you want to hear but deliver completely different care. There were several staff members that cared about my sister and seemed to care about the other residents . But the lack of communication and overall quality of care is terrible!
This is a picture of the dog urine spot that never was cleaned up. Disgusting!!

I put 2 stars because I want you to read my comments! My initial visit was a referral from my doctor for voice therapy. This place was So pleasant to visit: well staffed, clean surroundings, friendly staff and attention to who was visiting and why. I’m not ready to move in, but it will be placed on my list.

Great decision Pinegrove !!!
If you have a loved one at Cherry Creek Retirement Home get them out ASAP !!!
Short on staff due to management budget cuts etc. looking further into the situation of the staff is leaving the care has gone downhill my uncle Bob’s only been at Pinegrove in less than a week he’s already got his appetite back in his in positive spirits no questions asked. Highly recommend it Recommending moving any of your family members are at Cherry Creek Retirement Home

Memory Care - We did not have a good experience here. We tried to communicate with management multiple times and nothing would change. Constant rollover of management and staff. Do not take your loved one to a facility owned by Stellar. They come in and spend money to make the place look nice for sales, but spend nothing on staffing or training. We moved our mother here from another Stellar community and then they bought this one. We were about to move her when she became ill. The night she passed the hospice nurse could not find a staff member. One person for 20+ residents (4 of them hospice patients).

We've been a part of PGC for about 5 and a half years. I appreciate the care and attention that my father is given every day. The staff works hard to personalize his care. It feels like family!

We visited several memory care assisted living facilities prior to placing my mom at Pine Grove Crossing. Honestly, as soon as I was given a tour of the memory care unit by the Memory Care Director, I knew I would be bringing my mom to Pine Grove Crossing. The Memory Care Director displayed a unique combination of hands-on involvement, professionalism and an abundance of deep care about the residents. She was also very knowledgeable about memory. Because of the Memory Care Director, I knew this was a perfect fit for my mom. After visiting Pine Grove Crossing, we only visited one more facility simply because I already had an appointment. I called back the same day and made sure my mom could reside at Pine Grove Crossing. It was a great decision, my mom loved it there.

I was visiting a very dear friend. I absolutely loved the way they took care of my friend, checking on him, making sure he was safe and if there was anything he needed. They made sure he ate and as the day was hot, they reminded him to drink. They took very good care of his health as well. His medication was given to him on time and if he was not in his room they took it to where he was. They were kindness itself. They always included him in activities and had several different areas he could go for a change of scene. The facility was very clean and well maintained. The facility also was secure and they cared not only about the safety of the residents but also about the guests. I have never seen a better care facility.
