I would not recommend this place to anyone that is truly seeking help!!! Their program is nothing even close to what they say it is! There is way too much free time, that should be filled w/ classes, etc but instead the residents just spend 75% of their time hanging out! And Jesse, the person in charge needs to be relieved of his duties, he's surely not competent for the position. From the website and everything I was told, I believed it to be a faith based facility, that was also misleading. If there's another option than this place.....I would recommend going there instead.

Phoenix Rescue Mission was EXTREMELY disrespectful to my fiance on the phone. We are trying to see about getting into the shelter so we would be safe and when she spoke to the and explained our situation he was abelist to my disabilities and being dependent on my fiance and said that if she can't work because of a traumatic shoulder injury that she isn't allowed housing because she cant work. So I highly recommend not even reaching out to them because they are really verbally abusive and abelist. Makes me wonder if they aren't physically abusive to those on their shelters. What do you have to say for yourself?
