Nipped in with my mam after a busy day to get some food we had fish, chips and curry sauce. I never leave reviews but I had to because honestly it was the NICEST fish and chips I’ve ever had. Fresh, tasty, and the staff were so lovely ? definitely be back ❤️

Stopped by while my car is having its windscreen replaced by the nearby National Windscreens - quite an unusual (in a good way!) cafe which also doubles up as a shop / news agents. Not seen anything like it before, quite a tidy little business model.

I had some food in the cafe, jumbo sausage in batter and some chips and the portion size was fantastic and really filling. The chips were really nice and not greasy like some places and the jumbo sausage in batter was also cooked to the same perfection, plenty of taste and not greasy.

Would recommend a visit and would return in future if I am ever in Bridgend again ?

Cafe with an above average service and food. It may not look much from the outside, but this bustling little cafe offers much more on the inside. The servers are quick and efficient, the food is great value and the coffee served from the espresso machine, well that's tops off a great meal.

My regular for a chippy tea ever since I moved to Bridgend 6 years ago. Happy to travel from Broadlands, despite closer Fish n Chip shops. Had double cod and chips last night, huge portions, freshly cooked and perfectly cooked chip shop chips. Great value considering increased takeaway prices over the past few years. Really cheery and friendly young lass served me too.

Excellent cod & chips, and very good value (half what you might pay in London).
Suggestion - options of fish other than Cod would be great. The best f&c I ever had was Alaskan Pollock. But even Haddock would be great, and takes the pressure off the poor old Cod!
